Inspiration Squad - Challenge 207

Hello crafty friends...
Welcome to CAS-ual Friday's Challenge #207!  Our theme for this challenge is a color scheme of mint and neutrals...

I used the Peaceful Garden stamp set and matching Garden Fri-Dies to created these two cards:

On the first card, I created a heart wreath with the leaves from the Garden Fri-Die.

On the second card, I created a cluster leaves in white, teal and gold embossed under a center flower.

Remember... 10 winning entries will be highlighted on this blog each Thursday before a new challenge is set to go live the next day.  In addition, Michele has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate to the overall winner at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.   If the chosen winner has used CAS-ual Fridays stamps and/or dies as the main focus in the card, that gift certificate will increase to $50.

Thanks for stopping bye... until next time, take care.

Inspiration Squad - Challenge 206

Hello crafty friends...
Welcome to CAS-ual Friday's Challenge #206!   Our theme for this challenge is ...

I used the color scheme and theme and created a card for my nephew who's starting his freshman year of High School this week.  His sister (a senior) will be there to help him on his first day.

I used the bunnies and balloon from the Some Bunny stamp for this card.  I wanted a one layer card, so I did a little bit of masking to get my bunnies to hold hands.

Scrapy Land - Challenge #96

Hello crafty friends... welcome to the start of Scrapy Land Challenge #96.  Come join us... our theme is always "anything goes".

It's the middle of August, but I'm already thinking Halloween, so don't be surprised if you see nothing but Halloween cards from me going forward.

I stared by die cutting several black card stock Spellbinders Donna Salazar Cascading Circles and gluing them together.  This die is not currently available, but the Paper Rose Bubbles Circle die is and would probably work better, because it would fit an A6 size card.  The Spellbinders' die is too big... I used it on a 5x7 card.

Next I die cut my witches from yellow and orange card stock using the Impression Obsession Six Witches die and arranged them within some of the bigger circles.  A few Nuvo Drop finished my card.

Thanks for stopping bye.... please join us for this challenge.  The winners... one selected randomly and one selected by the Design Team will both receive a $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.  Until next time... take care.

Only 4 more challenges now...

Inspiration Squad - Challenge 205

Hello crafty friends...
Welcome to CAS-ual Friday's Challenge #205!   Our theme for this challenge is ...

I used the Tin Roof floral borders to stamp a backgound flower pattern on a yellow variegated pattern paper.  I stamped the "you're the tweetest!" sentiment from the Little Birdies stamp set onto a fishtail banner and used it to rest my birds (also from the Little Birdies set).   I love how sunny and happy the card turned out.

Scrapy Land - Challenge #95

Hello crafty friends... welcome to the start of Scrapy Land Challenge #95 (only 5 more before our 100th).  Come join us... our theme is always "anything goes".

I had fun covering a card front with several of my "happy" dies.  It task was made super easy by using the Frantic Stamper Happy Happy Happy die, but I could have also used the Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy die.

I'm going to make a couple of similar cards for Christmas with the Memory Box Make Merry and the Memory Box We Wish You dies.  For my Spanish friends, I'm going to use the small ECD Feliz Navidad die, because I can fit lots of them on one card front as a background design (think white on white).

Thanks for stopping bye.... please join us for this challenge.  The winners... one selected randomly and one selected by the Design Team will both receive a $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.  Until next time... take care
