Craft Roulette #101 Card & Video

Hello crafty friends,
here's my submission to Craft Roulette ChallengeEpisode #101 (38th consecutive):

The idea for this card is somewhat tongue-in-cheek, because I made a T-shirt quilt without cutting off the sleeves and other stuff I'm sure get removed.  I used a T-shirt stamp from Your Next Stamp called Cool Tees and hand zig zag stitched with a black liner.   The "Handmade, with love" sentiment, I typed up, printed and then die cut it using a tag die from IO DIE015-F.   Tip... you can hold up your printed sentiment to the light and place your die behind the paper/cardstock to position it.  Use a little masking tape to hold it in place and die cut it.  Note... when you die cut, the die cut piece has a top and a bottom, by die cutting from underneath, your bottom will become your top and will probably have a lip from the edge of the die, but I don't think it's a big deal.

Craft Roulette #100 Card & Video

Hello crafty friends,

here's my submission to Craft Roulette ChallengeEpisode #100 (37th consecutive):

I have to admit that this card almost didn't happen.  I was having a really foggy weekend and kind of forgot about the challenge until late Sunday night.  Thank the Crafty Wheel it was an easy set of parameters this week.

I used a chocolate covered strawberry stamp from CTMY to stamp a background and set the tone for my love and great affection for chocolate.  I didn't want the tags to be the star of the card, I wanted the background to take that honor, so the velum was the perfect solution.

Hello crafty friends and welcome to this month's challenge reminder post.  Have you started working on a card/project?  If yes, GREAT!  If no, WHAT are you waiting for?  We want to see your Halloween creations.   Remember  the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge, runs from the 2nd to the 28th of the month and the theme is always Halloween... Fast and simple card using a few pink pattern papers and one very old Sizzix Pumpkin steel rule die.  Since the pp has gold on it (dots on the flower pp, hearts on the pink pp), I matted my pink polka dot pp with a stitched gold card stock panel.

2022 TSA Card Auction

Welcome to the Turner Syndrome Awareness Card Auction!

This is a collaborative Card Auction for the benefit of the Turner Syndrome Foundation, which operates solely on donations.  With Covid the last couple of years have been very difficult for the Turner Syndrome Foundation since most of their big fundraisers are held as "in-person" events and the pandemic has put all of that on hold.  The TS Foundation provides support, guidance and educational programs for families impacted by Turner Syndrome.  TS is a genetic disorder where a female is born missing part or all of her second X chromosome leaving her with lifelong medical issues and learning disabilities.

The very talented Card Designers who have donated their amazing cards are from all over the world and work on Design Teams for various crafting companies that sell dies, stamps and other card making supplies.  They are the most generous and caring people in the industry!  They have poured lots of love into each of their creations!

If you see a card that you love, please bid with your heart!

Here is a link to the TS Foundation if you would like to learn more about TS:

I created these two masculine cards for the auction:

I used the Wish You Were Beer stamp set by Unity,
the Happy Birthday Circle Frame die from MFT and the largest of the
Stitched Rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness.

I used the Set the Bar and the  Wish You Were Beer stamp sets by Unity,
the Happy Birthday Circle Frame die from MFT and the largest of the
Stitched Rectangle dies by Kat Scrappiness.

Both cards are blank inside, but can sentiment(s) can be added if the winner(s) want.

Thanks for stopping bye.  Until next time... take care.

Craft Roulette #97 Card & Video

Hello crafty friends,

Here's my submission to Craft Roulette ChallengeEpisode #97 (34th consecutive):

I used the following two digital stamps from LotvDigiShop for this 5x5 square card.  James Big Sign and Rabbit Sign 3.  I sized, position the images and added text to the signs in PSE.  Once the panel was printed and cut to size, I created my section with an alcohol proof pen.

I used snowflake stamp for the top left section and a small flower stamp from the Honey Bee set for the bottom right section.   The top background is a blue tone-on-tone of clouds.  The bottom green,

TOB - Feb2022 Challenge

Hello crafty friends,

Welcome to a new month at the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge, which runs from the 2nd to the 28th of the month and the theme is always Halloween... ANYTHING related to Halloween!

When I saw the mood board for this month I got so excited, because I had the perfect stamp for card.  The Vampire SWAK stamp by Deep Red is a close match to the fangs on the mood board.  I created a slimline card (4"x8")  by randomly stamping the lips on my card panel with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.  I used Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink mixed with a little water to watercolor around the lips.  I was going to fill in the lips with more Picked Raspberry, but ended up liking them as is, so all I added was Red Berry Crystal Nuvo Drops to the lips "blood" drops.   I think I'll give my hubby this card for Valentines day, I just have to think of a good sentiment for the inside.

Here's this month's mood board for additional inspiration... Hope to see your card soon.

Challenge ends on the 28th, winner will be announced on the 1st on the month before the start on the new challenge.  For a full list of all the rules please visit Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge home page.  unit next time... take care.
