Craft Roulette #118 Card & Video

 

Hello crafty friends, 
     here's my 55th consecutive submission to Craft Roulette, Episode #118:

The parameters were somewhat kind this week.  I'm not super happy about the bug element, but as long as I can have creative license and use this butterfly girl by Stamping Bella for the bug/insect element, than all in well. 

I think this card shows that card making doesn't have to be complicated.  This is a colorful, happy card and it didn't take long to create or a lot of products.  The pattern paper, which I picked for the pink flowers provided the rest of my colors scheme for the stamped image.

TOB - June Mid-Month Challenge Riminder

Welcome to this month's challenge reminder post.  Have you started working on a card/project?  If yes, GREAT!  If no, WHAT are you waiting for?  We want to see your Halloween creations.   Remember  the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge, runs from the 2nd to the 28th of the month and the theme is always Halloween... ANYTHING related to Halloween!

Another card using digital cupcake stamps, because they are fun to color and so very easy to work with.  This time I printed three pumpkins ones and two witch cupcakes and placed them on a woodgrain "table" I stamped and inked using Distress Oxides.

Craft Roulette #116 Card & Video

 

Hello crafty friends, 
     here's my 53nd consecutive submission to Craft Roulette, Episode #116:

The parameters were interesting this week and looking at the card now, I wish I had gone with a darker grey background panel for a bigger pop of color, but otherwise, I'm very happy with the card. 

I went with the Sun and Moon as my light sources. The stamp set by Simon Say was the perfect choice, because it was big and bold, but the stamp lines were somewhat delicate.  I used Distressed inks to color the stamped images... inking outside the lines to meet one of the parameters.   Fussy cutting the images to show the extra inking was easy, because I traced the outside of the stamp with a pencil giving me a nice thick bolder line of the stamp image to fussy cut by.

Craft Roulette #115 Card & Video

     here's my 52nd consecutive (a years worth of cards!) submission to Craft Roulette, Episode #115:

I created a farm scene using digital stamps from an Esty shop called My Cute Lobster.  When designing the scene, I positioned the barn and tree so that they would both get partially cut off the sides of the A2 panel when I die cut it.  I also angled the horizon line to create a secondary diagonal element. My primary diagonal element are the sunrays, which I glued over an inked blue sky.

TOB - June Challenge

Welcome to a new month at the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge, which runs from the 2nd to the 28th of the month and the theme is always Halloween... ANYTHING related to Halloween!  

I based my card on those amazing looking cupcakes on the mood board. I used a digital cupcake stamp to create a large focal point cupcake on my card.  I gave it even more focus by using a center ray stencil in the background.  The cupcake is mounted on a woggle thing, so it moves.
