Lawnscaping Challenge #131

Hello Crafty Friends,

I'm submitting this card, which I made for my Mom, who LOVES elephants for Mother's Day to the Lawnscaping Challenge: Off Kilter, which is sponsored by ELLEN HUTSON.

I started the card by embossing my background wood grain pattern paper w/the Cuttlebug A2 Hugs and Kisses Embossing Folder.  Next I started building my shaker element, using the Taylored Expressions Color Block Cutting Plate.  I filled 3 of the compartments with sequin.   Inside the top right compartment I placed a Copic colored Mom and baby Elephant from the Clearly Besotted Love You Tons stamp set.  On the outside of the bottom right compartment I placed a Copic colored Elephant from  the Avery Elle Ellie stamp set.   The balloon on the top left compartment is also from the Avery Elle Ellie stamp set.   My last element on the card was a Happy Happy Happy die cut from Frantic Stamper

I placed the shaker element on an angle for a little extra interest.  My Mom LOVED her card and I hope you do also.

Thanks for stopping bye.

Bow Wrapped Birthday Wishes

Hello crafty friends,

Here's my card for Scrapyland's Challenge #18 (and my 2nd entry for their Guest Designer call).  The theme was birthdays/celebrations using any brand of die Scrapyland sells.

For this card I used three of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Candle dies, cutting them out of white and baby blue glitter papers.

I also used, one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Four Bows dies, cutting it out of white and pink glitter papers.

And as my finishing touch,  I used the Die-Versions Sweet Wordlets Happy and Die-Versions Sweet Wordlets Birthday dies for my "Happy Birthday".

I love how simple, but elegant this card turned out.   Thanks for stopping bye today.  Until next time, take care.
